Ювал Ной Харарі — ізраїльський історик, філософ, письменник і популяризатор науки, доктор філософії, професор Єврейського університету в Єрусалимі. Один із найвідоміших сучасних інтелектуалів світу, відомий своїми працями про історію, майбутнє людства та роль технологій у суспільстві.
Харарі здобув ступінь бакалавра з історії в Єврейському університеті в Єрусалимі, а докторський ступінь філософії — в Коледжі Ісуса Оксфордського університету, де його науковим керівником був Стівен Ганн.
