The Ghost of Kyiv

Well-known manga author Matsuda Djuko was inspired by the events of February 2022, when during the brutal escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the skies over Kyiv were heroically defended by Ukrainian pilots of the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade.

The feat of the Ukrainian aces gave rise to the urban legend of the Ghost of Kiev, MiG-29 pilot, who, (вставили запятую) in the first 30 hours of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, (вставили запятую) won 6 air victories in the sky over the capital: he shot down two Su-35, two Su-25, Su-27 and MiG- 29.
